[Reaches out for you but stops short taking his hand back as if he were burned by the thought. Instead looks down, thinking.]

[takes two quick steps forward and snags your hand, gripping your fingers]

You aren't? ... [It certainly sounded like you were. Maybe I just misheard it.]

I don't really know what to say to most of that.

I hate that you're staying with Basco. [shrugs a little] And It sucks that I haven't seen you. But they're separate things. ...I figured you were still upset about--y'know. What happened before, and didn't really want to see me.

[That's not really untrue, like, at all, but good luck getting me to admit it]

I'm staying with Basco because I can't be at home right now. Gai found Don and could barely control his emotions and rage when he last saw me.

...oh, shit. [softly, gnawing his lower lip]

You know... Takeru moved out of the cabin. [watching your face carefully] Because he and neesan and Ryuunosuke broke up. There's space where he's staying now, if you want somewhere else to crash, they have a bunch of extra beds.

[I think you left me at 'broke up'.]

[darting his gaze left and right before dropping it. Takeru didn't tell him anything, not even...]

He texted me that he moved cabins, but not why.

He hasn't... really been talking about it a lot. He didn't even really tell me anything until I went to his new cabin and banged the door down.

He could use friends right now though.

[Not sure I'm the one for the job but I'm going to have tea with him anyway so might as well]

It'll be good for him either way. I've been crashing with him off and on, he hasn't been sleeping great with nobody there since he got used to it.
